Lol went diving for the first out of the season march 21st. Full suit, hood, gloves, booties. Your insane to get in that unprotected and its frankly a little dumb
Invest in a nice wetsuit.

Nice, I've been out in my boat 4 times since last Tuesday already. Had to do some dock maintenance yesterday. One of the barrels came out in the fall when we pulled the docks so I had to sit in the back of the boat and try to force a barrel under the tilted dock! If only I weighed another 150 lbs it probably would be easy, but I managed to get it in place.

Well the ocean is a completely different beast from rivers/lagoons/bays/lakes. At least from the looks of it its somewhat shallow and ya get the radiant heat in the water from the sun pounding on the mud.
It was funny last season we started kayaking in the very beginning of may no suits or anything. We were in the Barneget bay and the water was like 65-75* from the sun. Ocean was still like 55 I think.
