My car was part of a raid of cars having items stolen out of them

Here in NC there were 20 cars in my town reported having items stolen out of them and in 1 case a window broken.

Well my case is they took my t-top off and jumped in the car. you may ask how is this, pull the drivers window out so you can fit your hand under the t-top and flip the lever if your t-top just so happens to be unlocked like mine was unlocked but not anymore. when they took the t-top off they scuffed the glass on the t-top, my hatch and scuffed my spoiler paint. Only thing i lost was a pair of mechanixs wear gloves. They had every zipper open in my book bag and glove box was open and center console all my stuff was on my seat. I got very lucky.

Outcome:

T-top glass scuffed
hatch glass scuffed
spoiler paint scuffed
mechanixs wear gloves stolen.

Did they catch the people that did this? If they were looking through your bookbag, took your mechanix gloves, and knew how to take off your t-top with the door locked without breaking the glass, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it was kids who work on cars.

haha thats seeing the glass half full!

good thing the most valuable thing in your car was some gloves.. (well valuable to them i guess)

I have an old school garfield that i stick onto my window sometimes .. if someone broke into my car thats prob what they would take.. that or the left over anti-freeze from when i got my water pump replaced..
