close call

Tonight I was heading down route 70 when somebody made a left turn in front of me going reallllly slow. I slammed the brakes while horning them, But because of the rain I couldn't stop. The lady pretty much stopped in my lane when she saw me barreling down on the side of her Mitsubishi. I had to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid t-boning her, but I still clipped her when I saw the cars coming the other direction. Luckily there was a police officer at the intersection who witnessed the whole thing. She got a ticket and I got a messed up fender, but the police officer told me he was impressed that I managed to avoid a bad collision and especially having that kind of control of a truck in the rain.

Anyway, here's the damage:

good driving at least everyones ok but stinks about the fender
