July Car of the Month Submissions
Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.
Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.
If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.
At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.
All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).
If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.
Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

I bought the car in January, 2008 completely stock and have been modifying it ever since. I put an LS1 shortblock in it from a 2002 car, 2005 LS6 heads, and Comp Cam 232/234 cam along with supporting mods. It also has a monster level 3 clutch, tick master cylinder, and a Moser 9inch with 3.5inch driveshaft. The car has gone a best of 11.85 in the 1/4 and it still has some left in it.

I bought the car in February, 2008 with just a catback. It was previously owned by a member on tech. So far only mods are LM2 catback, lid, Baer brakes, and draglites. The car has gone a best of 12.8 @108 mph.

1995 V6 Firebird
Got the car for my birthday July 13. I really got it in June so i had a car for when i got my permit. I'm coming up on my 2 year mark having it. The thing i love the most about her is the t-tops. It's great getting up early on a nice summer morning and drive around with them off. Due to the fact shes a v6 i did not do alot of changes. I changed the exhuast added a fresh air intake and a tuner chip. Also i changed the tires and rims.

Name: Chris R.
Car: 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
I purchased this car in the summer of 2005. It was a stock 350 TPI/700R4 with some basic bolt ons...a Flowmaster catback & headers. I had visions of a supercharged street machine that could be a mean daily driver. After a 2 year nightmare with a (cough cough) "performance shop" that could not handle the build, the car was shipped to Josh at JS Performance. He did an excellent job of building both the motor and tranny. I am proud to drive this car every day, and show everyone how awesome a 3rd gen can truly be.
Motor: JS built 355 w/ Vortech (V-2) Supercharger, Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Heads, SRP Forged Pistons, Scat Rods, full Roller Valvetrain, Lingenfelter Super-Ram Intake, 1000 CFM throttle body...Edelbrock shorty headers to Magnaflow Catback
Tranny: JS built 700R4/9.5 Vigilante Stall Converter
Suspension: Spohn torque arm & lower control arms, Edelbrock Panhard bar, Eibach springs, Hawk pads...more I'm forgetting
Appearance: (Exterior) Daytona Iroc Cowl Hood, Billet grille, Silverstar Headlights, Diamond Clear parking lamps, Clear turn signals, Blackout taillights, tint (Interior) Nordskog Digital Gauges on dash and A-pillar triple pod, 1997 Camaro Seats front & back, Grant steering wheel

I bought this car in November of 2009 from deadtrend1. Never thought of owning a LT1 but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. The car has a LT4 hot cam, BMR SFC's, a hooker cat back, an ls1 brake swap, as well as many other mod's. The last time this car was at the track it ran a 13.1 @ 109. This car makes Vroom noises and I like it!

2001 Camaro SLP SS. Bought the car in Novaember and love driving it. I have wanted a Pewter SS since 2000 when my Uncle got his and this one just fell into my lap at a great price. Its throughly modded and has run a best of 12.6@115 at Atco. Im shooting for 11's in it but may need the driver mod

My name is Ryan and this is my 01 Z28 6 speed.I bought it in october of 2008 and it currently has about 123,000 on it. This is my first LS car that i have owned and i love it.Its still pretty much bone stock minus the free mods and the chrome ss 10 spokes but i do have lots of plans for it such as heads cam and full bolt ons. I picked up this car in Jacksonville FL and it was a FL car its entire life before i came back to jersey. I got the car for a steal we traded even trade for my girls 02 honda civic. when they said even trade i never looked back.

This is my 95 Formula but most people know her as "the gunship". Her hobbies include long drives on the beach and spending lots of time in dry dock. Her favorite food is usually some variation of rice with a side of anything else. oh and she LOVES to be topless

Here is my 1992 Camaro RS, what once started life out as a 305 TBI daily driver has grown into 11 yrs now of time and energy spent on modifying it to be faster and more competitive on the street/strip/show circuit. The car has a 355 cu in D1SC Procharged motor with a FAST XFI system pushing 650 hp at the wheels on pump gas, there is also nitrous on tap if the additional horsepower is needed. Plans this winter include more boost, methanol injection, and a higher stall convertor.

This is my 1994 Formula. I bought it in May of 2009, it is very modded edlebrock headers, slp cat back, comp cam gold 1.6 roller rocker, 4.10 gears, moser axles, msd, and a few other small bolt ons... It's best time at the track was a 13.3 at 103 and soon hope to be in the 12's....
