Ya know I wouldnt doubt it. Didnt Dodge have some part in some of the Daytona Camaros in the 80s?

Probably. It was a while ago. I'm sure I got the Camaro section of an IROC article melted into that part. Combine that with the terrible habit I have of skimming things and you get a Camaro put together by dodge.
