Rebuild under way

Well i picked up a trans am a couple months ago that i thought was in good mechanical shape just needing some body work but i was wrong. after getting mad trying to fix everything i figured i would just strip the car down and start from scrap,

so far ive sold off the turbo kit and top end of the motor. ill try and keep you guys updated with pictures as i do more work.

ill be pulling the motor out to replace all gaskets and check torque and specs on the bottom end.

all stripped down and ready to come out

the hacked up upper radiator support

the hacked up front bumper support

i got back from my 2 week vacation in florida today to find a bunch of parts waiting for me

i added a little bit of a stock look to the high flow lid

and of course the new bumper support and upper tie bar

I think you should have just kept your last car.

its got a slight leak from the oil pan gasket so im pulling the motor and going to double check the bottom end of the motor to make sure it was put together to proper spec. motor should be done in a week or 2 depending on how much free time i have to work on it. still waiting on my cam to show up.

Looks like it's coming along pretty well. I've learned from my mistakes...no more buying heavily modded cars.
