Agreed.
Go 3.73 if you want to gamble with it.

qtps, 12 bolt, 3:73's, 3600-3800 stall, and you'll knock off 5+ tenths off your quarter depending if you know how to launch your car.

You never mentioned what size tire you run, cam, shift points, etc. Ideally, you shoot for crossing the traps about 5% past your peak power RPM. Need to calculate converter slip, and a few other things. Figure out your trap speed vs RPM and tweak from there once you know your converter slip percentage. If you aren't trying to maximize your combo, 3.73s on a 26" tire would be your safest bet.

whats you intentions with the car - track or street/strip? If you dont plan on a giant stall and want to stay streetable I would say 3.73 and 26" tire. Thats what I run, but I have a loose 4k stall and run out of gear a little before the beams trapping 124.

ok the rims 18x9 19x10 rear the tires are 295/30/zr19 for the rear and i forget the fronts ... also my old cam was rpm range 1,800-6,800 duration @.50int/exh.222*/224* lift int./exh.566"/.568". BUT all that is being changed as we speak the car was running really bad when i bought it. so i have alot of work to do to it

dont go with a Moser 12 bolt, they use 4 small torque arm mounting bolts that tend to back out.

True... but I guess you never saw that neat little blue bottle that parts stores carry?,,,,, it says Loctite on it.

We have literally soaked them in red lock tite and still had problems with them backing out.. On some cars we have actually welded the bolts to the torque arm to keep them from backing out. Just a bad design in my opinion..

Can tell you right now those wheels and whatever potential tire you will wrap them with is gonna kill you off the line.
