Car Cover

OK so i am moving in the next few dayS and I wont have a garage so even if you dont like convers because they can scratch the paint, I really dont have a choice. I could sell my Firebird and hate myself or make the best of the situation.

So California Car Cover seems to get the best reviews. but which one would you suggest?

Noah, Stormweave, Superweave, etc.

Just curious is anyone has and experience with them and can give some insight.

Also its just in primer so no worries about it rubbing.

Any of them provide the level of protection you would need but i like the stormweave..plus once the car is painted you can continue using it. All good covers are breathable and will let water permeate....the material will let water evaporate and let the paint and car breath....so no good cover should be waterproof.

Agree Stormweave would be the best overall cover, before and after paint.

As of yesterday I have a california car cover for my 4th gen and a covercraft weathersheild hp for my 3rd gen. They both I believe are made by the same manufacture. I put the weathersheild on a 3month old paint job in October, fits great feels kinda like a rain jacket/umbrella it's very thin but being so light it's not heavy on the paint. Water beads off of it amazingly car seems to stay dry too. After the winter and my 5+ times taking it off and back on to drive te car there's no damage whatsoever.

The storm weave seems softer more like the inside of a sweatshirt in the inside and more like a stiff blanket on the outside. I can't speak on the quality of stopping stuff like rain or snow but it's been on the car all day and I checked under it and the car was dry. Feels like it would protect better against things hitting the car vs the weathersheild. I did months of research though last summer on what cover to get and it was the weathersheild hp I don't regret the decision at all.
