5th gens in parade

So my town Denville has this big celebration parade today. I'm hangin there and I see the guys and girls from the 5thgen car club come through in the parade which was really cool. They're revvin it up and stuff. Then they start power brakin and launching and getting sideways like 10 feet from my kids and horses. It was pretty retarted if you ask me. Btw I'm not really old and crotchety. I love burnouts just as much as the next man. That's all.

Did the mooring lines break or something to let the barges loose?

I saw a coworker get kicked in the face by a retired racehorse. So, yes.

That is not a good move.

Yes, I just logged in to write that.

BTW I was exaggerating about the ten feet from the horses thing but not the ten feet from my kids.

I knew of one or two 5th gen people from another group, and they happened to be a part of NJ 5th gen I believe.

I'm surprised no one from the parade management stepped in with all the liability issues that would cause.

In a lot of ways, I like what they do and what they're about. I noticed a lot of repeat faces there, and even at BWW it seemed they were tight knit and had great chemistry among them. While I don't share their taste in aesthetics and modifications, I can definitely appreciate their devotion to their cars and their club. Probably something we can take away from them.
