Indications that I'm getting old:
I was wayyyyy too excited about receiving warm socks, Long Johns and Scotch, and not nearly as excited as I should have been about the Cash/Amazon gift cards, Porter Cable saw and sweets.
Although, the whoopie cushion stocking stuffer got quite a workout after dinner though...

My dad always buys me a childs toy each year. This one was a little cheapo radio controlled car which I used to play with the cat last night.

That is a great tradition!
My brother and I try to talk my dad into the largest real tree we can find. Like take the doors off of the house big. For the grandkids.
13.5' this year.

I am getting some good fun out of it. He got me a 3/8 air impact gun and a couple other nice things as well. Giving the gifts is the fun part for me and I'm happy our family takes our time opening them up. I've been to my in-laws a few times and the kids blow through opening their gifts within a few minutes.

Got a racecar/Hot Wheels PEZ dispensor. "Lol"-ed upon finding it and then figured I'd use it once at the office and be done with it.
I literally just finished the last piece of the 1st Grape Candy pack midway through this post. Highly underrated stocking stuffer.
