Can you/know someone who can ... weld stainless steel?

I had my friend lined up to do it, but through some miscommunication, he will be gone next week!

I am getting LPP headers, stainless Y-pipe, and a stainless kitty kat.

I need the catalytic converter welded into my Y-pipe. Should be an easy job. I'm not a welder so

any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Where are you located ? Had a place in Dover do my CME. Great work, pretty clean welds and decent pricing.

That's a small hike just for some welding. Its called bargain complete auto I believe in dover. Don't let the name fool you they are a small shop but do really nice work and have a wall of photos done. Also recommending by a few master techs that I work with (we don't weld at BMW) lol

Listed as Trenton but really its on the outskirts in Hamilton Square. Its not in a bad area at all. They do top notch work and is pretty well known in the LSx world. I've used them quite a bit...theyre pretty good. Call ahead with an appointment first though

My father recommended Art's Radiator and Welding in Flemington. I talked to him and he kinda sounded like a jerk...

Called Mufflex... definitely going with him! He said he would prefer it done on the car.

Hamilton square is a specific place. And it's more like 10 minutes down Nottingham way. And trenton is trenton and can stay in trenton. But since the trenton/Hamilton line is only like two blocks past trenton high. It's also 10 minutes.

To be completely accurate, Mufflex is in mercerville. Lol

LOL.

I called Art's on two occasions:

1.) See if they can weld aluminum to fix a very small crack in a manifold. "No, we don't do that, and can't tell you who will."

2.) See if they can boil and repair a radiator for me. "No, we don't do that." Silly me, seeing as how they are a RADIATOR SHOP.

What do they do?

Stuff like this:

haha!

I can understand that they are a specialized business and do a good job BUT they def have no telephone or people skills. I wanted them to build me a radiator for a tube chassis race car. I was going to buy a Ron Davis but figured they are 8 miles from my shop and I would give them my business. It was like they didn't even know drag cars have radiators and basically told me that they really don't build them.

Ron Davis I went...

Next time I'm just going to say "this is Billy Pauch calling"
