Racewars VII - 11/20 - Official Thread
General Details: RENTAL WILL BE AT ATCO RACEWAY. THE DATE IS SET FOR MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH.
Where:
Atco Dragway
1000 Jackson Road, Atco, NJ
Rental Guidelines:
- Rental starts at 9:30AM and ends at 4:30PM
- No street tires. You must be running a drag oriented tire (Drag radial, slick, etc)
- $20 non-refundable per person/car deposit required ($200 total deposit required to book the date)
- $180 balance due at the rental per person/car CASH
- 10 cars required
- No walk-on racers. If you did not pre-pay, no racing.
- Proper safety gear required
- Food has been provided in the past for some $. Stay tuned for more details.
- If the weather is poor, the rental will be rescheduled.

What to expect when you arrive:
- Plan to arrive early!
- Find me so you can provide the rental balance of $180 CASH (check in sheet will be signed by you and me)
- Once paid in full, you will receive a tech sheet. Complete the document and keep it with you/car.
- Atco tech will come around to collect the tech sheets from each car.

Right off the plane from Jamaica into the drivers seat. Definitely in for 1 car. Maybe 2 or 3 all together.

Might have another Fbody coming... my brother isn't done with the mods to the V so he's thinking about bringing out the SS for a day. Trying to find DRs for him

Well it looks like Beggs has done his best rain dance so he can run at the rental. Most forecasts are showing some level of rainfall. Some at 20%, other at 60%. I do not want to "force" the rental just to have it rained out since we know even with a little rainfall, it will take a while to dry and re-prep the track.
I spoke with Atco yesterday to give them a heads up and will be discussing more today regarding a new date. This is not officially postponed at this time but at the moment is seems likely.
Before setting a new date, I will reach out to those looking to race to make sure we can still bring enough heads. Right now I'm thinking maybe Friday, the 17th or Monday, the 20th.
