Anyone ever race them?

I was digging through my basement looking for some tools, and came across a tool box that I havent seen in ages, opened it up and found my Slot cars. They used to be for fun, but my uncle gave me one that actually won a few throphy's. It just happens theirs going to be a benefit race at a local hobby shop, that I used to go to is sponsoring some race / benefit thing, and their going to have some race cars in their parking lot, so I think Im going to dust these bad boys off and check them out.

What scale are those? I used to have a ton of the 1/64 and 1/52 scale cars....

i had a similar koford wingbody car...but it had a blueprinted group 20...had another with a group 27?( or group 7, i don't remember, its been forever) and a group 12 to putz around on....but didn't put a super 16d in any of the wing chassis's i had a demolition derby car with a super 16 and a womp womp with a super 16...i used to have around 40 of them and raced all of the events until the local slot car shop closed down...then i traded all my cars for 2 gas remote controls....kyosho gp spider and an rc10gt that i sold for 300...lol i was hardcore into slot cars from elementary school until prolly soph or junior year of high school...all i did was dirtbike race, bmx race, slot cars and rc cars...
