Dyno Tuning Day

Ok guys, now that we can start planning stuff, here's the skinny:

Xotic Motorsports, Saturday March 12th, all day.

Dyno time will be $75 per hour. This time though, you pay for how long you're on, rounded to the nearest 1/2 hour.

The tuning will be for 85-93 Chip vehicles, done by Alvin, the PCMForLess chip guy. I KNOW a few of us here are familiar with his work and can attest to the quality. Depending on how many chip cars are looking to get in, this MAY open up to 94+ stuff if there is enough room and Bryan is available.

Alvin's Pricing for Tuning
For up to 3 cars.... $150 for old customers, $200 for new customers.
With 4 or more cars, $100 for old customers, $150 for new customers.

Contact me for any questions or concerns.

Mods, if anything is out of line here please let me know and I'll make the appropriate changes.

if your doing your own tuning will they let you make changes between runs on the dyno? I have a gtp and am tuning myself but want to get my spark table looking good and dynoing is the best way to get that done.

Bill, a dyno isn't what you need if you've got hptuners. Did you see my reply about doing the acceleration without tire spin test?
What's more important... a dyno number or an actual performance gain . The best dyno is the 1/4 mile for anything that's running well already, trust me, I've done both.
As for the $75/hour, that's pretty good though it's definatly for somebody that needs tuning and not just a dyno pull.

Yeah, I don't see why not. But, this is primarily for the guys needing Alvin to do their tuning. You'd be a last priority. Call up Chris @ Xotic. That $75 an hour for tuning time rate is their standard rate.

Hey guys, I'm from over on the Delaware F-body board, and I was wondering if I could come to this little party? I have an 87 Trans Am I've been working on, and she NEVER seen a dyno, and I really need her tuned. Is there anything I need to know or bring (besides my car and cash)?

Nope. I'm assuming your car has a TBI or TPI, correct?? if so, then alvin can tune it. I've got a thread going on HERE with all the current happenings and info. I'm going to add you in, just let me know if anything changes and you can't make it. If you'd like to register over there and introduce yourself, you can ask Alvin and specific questions you may have about getting tuned as he's a prominent member over there.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. It's just what he does. 86-93 TPI/TBI/LT1 and EECIV and EECV Mustangs, and a conglomeration of GM trucks.

Well, I'm guessing that he could tune the others if he wanted to, but demand isn't there since the average joe wouldn't think that you could tune the computer for performance on a carb car.....
