Had a bad night in TR
There were lot's of cars out, but I still say it sucked.
I stopped at the wawa between the 37 and 70 circles in the little 2 lane road town. Turned the car off. Talked to the rest of C.I. and when I went to start the car the dash lights came on, gauges flickered, then nothing. Two of my friends went looking for jumper cables, came back and hooked them up to my car for over half an hour and the car wouldn't start. Turns out that there was a set of allen keys next to my battery that somehow touched both posts and totally fried my battery, then my two other buddies went to get a super jumper kit, some tools, and a spare battery. While we were waiting for them at like 2:20 this ford truck comes FLYING into the parking lot and couldn't get by my buddy's GTO because he was providing the light to take my battery out with his headlights. The guy lays on the horn a few times, then my buddy moves his car. The guy gets out and yells. This ain't no car show, get your pieces of **** out of here. then my buddy with the GTO(Ed) yells something along the lines of shut the **** up, we are working on our friends car. THe guy goes inside and his friend says it's ok, he's a cop. THen Ed says good. Let's call the cops. That's no excuse to act like an *******. The guy WAS definitely drinking and driving. He comes out gets on a 2 way and calls his on duty friends. He leaves, 2 cops show up and tell us to leave as soon as we get the car running. Then he left. THe one come on duty comes back and talks to us tell how the bars letting out and don't worry about the ******** that come in here. He was pretty cool. My 2 friends show up a hour later, try the jumper kit and nothing, so we put the other battery in and the car fires right up. THANK GOD. I know the computer was beyond reset after that one. It had to relearn a few things.
Why do cops get away with **** like that? I'm just mad because we did nothing wrong. He had plenty of room to go around the GTO, but decided to just sit there and LAY on the horn. He also came flying in the parking lot and almost locked the brakes when he stopped 15 feet away
