4th gen steering wheeels

anyone know if a 4th gen camaro steering wheel will work with a t/a airbag?.......

i want to get rid of my steering wheel controls when i get a head unit if they stop working.

I would assume the airbags could fit on each steering wheel, i think just the logos are the difference. but you can use your steering wheel controls with many aftermarket radios. I have my controls fully fuctioning with my pioneer headunit. All you need is a radio that has an option of an IR remote. IMO thats a better solution than getting rid of the controls.

i dont like them much anyway, i always change the station/volume/mute it when im working the wheel hard

I wanted to keep my steering wheel controls ... but when my stock radio kicked the bucket, I went for a kenwood aftermarket. The price of a refurbished factory or even a used one off ebay wasnt worth it.

I know that i can get the steering wheel remote adapter but the cheapest i seen them was around 70 bucks online and its not worth it to me to save myself the 1 foot reach.

And the wheels fit. Zepher used a 4th gen camaro wheel in his 3rd gen trans am

I wanna keep my air bag but get rid of the buttons..did any factory TA wheels not have controls for radio?

I actually like the look of the pontiac aztek wheel..lol..

wonder if it would work
