More Test Drives....

Well, I still never got around to driving some of the cars on my Test Drive list. Here's what's still left:

Dodge - SRT4
Ford - Mustang GT
Pontiac - GTO
Mazda - RX-8
Nissan - 350Z

Now, I know I can get a 350Z and an RX-8. The other three are not so definite.

Does anyone have any suggestions or requests? I'll do my best to drive every car and report on each one.

when i was high school/college age i used to walk into dealerships with a tie pulled down adn the top button on my shirt undone and tell them that i was looking fro a new car and my dad gave me a 35k budget.
about then the sales persons eyes pop out of their head and you can drive whatever you want. hehe

I brought my G/F along with me. We acted as if we were a young married couple. Mos of the salesman were very accomodating, especially the guy who let us drive a Lancer Evo for a half hour.

where are you getting the money for these cars? and if your parents are shooting down a thirdgen, how in the hell do you think you're gonna swing a brand new car with a lot more horsepower. it sounds to me like you're not being too realistic here man.

i'm just driving the cars for fun. I have no intention whatsoever of buying any of these cars. I'm also giving reviews of these cars, which could help people who may be thinking of buying them make a decision.

I attempted to do that for about 3 days over the summer, until I got tired of being hassled by the salesman every day

word of advice..... if you work at a dealership, never walk around the lot if you have a giant, open herpes sore on your mouth. what a horrible site, i went running in the opposite direction

SRT10 Ram is about 50 large...and not many dealers have them, and that Rumble Bee is so/so.

How about Magnum/300C? Other cars...lets see...Mazda3 is neat as well, and see if you can get yourself behind the wheel of the amazing Ford 500.....

I've driven the 300C a few times already. I like the two wheel drive one MUCH better than the all wheel drive version. Its a quick car when you think about how much it weighs. After I drove one of those, I drove a PT Cruiser vert with the 2.4 turbo motor and a maual tranny. that was just as fast if not faster than the 300, but talk about torque steer! I almost crashed because I wasn't expecting it!

i doubt a dealer would let me drive a Ram SRT-10. a Magnum or 300C, i could do.

I may try to go for a CTS-V. a nearby dealer has a nice silver one that's been sitting on the lot for a little while. I think they might let me take it out for a spin.
