Supermarket woes...

It's busy as **** in here today. You wouldn't want to run out of food in the middle of the blizzard coming today. Oh well, stupid people fund my profit-sharing.

Have you guys stocked up on your bread and milk?

I wonder how busy the station is? My dad still can't figure out why everyone feels the need to fill their gas tank right before a blizzard....I don't get it? You won't be driving anywhere....

"In case of emergency" would be my guess. If you only have a quarter tank and need to get out in an emergency of some sort, you want as much gas as possible. Oh, and maybe its a weight thing too...more gas = more weight = possibly better traction logic does not have to be good for people to think it logical

No, that I understand. I'm talking about people who are coming in and paying $3.25 to fill thier tank back up. 1.5 gallons isn't going to make much a difference....

it is only because you know you can't make all teh way from your home to any of the 5 hospitals that are with in 15mins of your house on only 3/4 tank of gas.
in case of emergency? we don'ty live in upstate NY where it can actually snow enough top shut **** down for days on end. this is new jersey, we oinly get that kind of weather once every 10 years or so.

later

See, you live in a suburb with 5 hospitals in a pretty close vicinity. Live out in the boondocks like me, and the nearest hospital is 25 minutes on a good day.

Besides, as I said, the logic doesn't have to make sense for people to think it logical.

It makes no sense at all. Look at the last big storm, everybody was out driving around in the middle of it anyway. So why do people insist on crowding the stores and buying all the bread and milk? It's a conspiracy!

Yeah, that makes no sence to me. Isn't getting "snowed in" when you're suposed to use your non-perishables? What are they waiting for, the nuclear holocaust?
This snow only stops me when I have to drive the camaro.

So many people called today wanting us at work to finish all their cars before it started to snow. yeah, that didn't happen. we had like 40 cars out there. We finished them, but not before the snow.

going up and then trying to go down matts hill was a chore in the gtp...i think it was meant to be thee worst bad weather fwd vehicle ever made...yah lets put in a V6 with a blower and a 3500 stall converter...now add that my car is lowered and doesnt have very good tires for the snow=what a bitch.

Just hit the gas and leave it there....it would have gotten down to pavement and launched you eventually

Although I shouldn't laugh.....I took the turn off 29 real slow, so I had no momentum going up the hill. I had to pull off the street on the right because it was flat and I could get going again.

I watched the guy in front of me lock up his front brakes and bounce off the curb last night. Ummm, you're locked up and sliding sideways, you might want to take your foot off the brake!

Where does Matt live and which hill are you talking about?

Oh yeah, that hill sucks. I ride up that hill sometimes on my mountain bike coming home from my cousin's in Titusville. The worst thing about my house's location is that when I go out on the bike, every way back to my house is up a pretty serious hill.
