in my opinion, dont waste your time or money, for 100 maybe, but no way 450 not even running. that car needs alot, the interior is ruined, the pass 1/4 appears to have been reconstructed with bondo, probably got hit hard there and will never be right without replacing entire 1/4 panle, maybe even twisted the body, trunk i bet leaks due to that hit so that floor im sure needs to be replaced, front grille has damage and nose appears cracked in several places, motor would need a rebuild from sitting with carb off most likely, who knows what got in the engine over 4 years and i doubt it was covered. The car is only useful if you need parts, not to rebuild, but thats my opinion. i see cars like this all the time which i pass on since people want big $ for crap. one other thign that sticks out, seems to have a z28 wing but not z28 hood, may not even be a real v8 car, may never have run, from an edlebrock sticker on the console you can tell some work may have been done or planned so who knows what the true history of the car is. thats just too many unanswerable questions for me.

It's not a Z28. they had black headlight buckets, not chrome. That spoiler thats on there isn't Z28 specific, any second gen could have one like that except VERY early 1970 models I believe. I wouldn't but that, maybe if the motor ran, but not the way it is now. How about you buy my second gen. Pics of it are in the link in my sig. 8)

you're much better off. they say they don't know if the frame rails are rusted out (most likely are) and a car in that shape (looks like it's been sitting outside) would never show its true colors until hit with a media-blaster. then all of the rust gets removed from the metal and you see large, gaping holes where there should be sheet metal, like in the floors. '79 isn't a bad year, but remember what happened to the horsepower of those motors after 1971? no interior, most likely rusted through and through and no motor to speak of... and now the biddings got it up to an even $500.
pass.
