Car show May 21st
A friend of mine in my car club sent me this today about a D.A.R.E. sponsored car show at a local high school. I will get the juice details sunday when I see him. It's for a good cause, so if you're not doing anything yous hould definitely come out.
"I have just received permission to hold the first ever car show at the Haddon Township High School. The event date will be May 21, with a rain date of the 22nd. This is the first place that I have announced the show. It would be great if we could have a big showing from the CI group and unlike other shows all cars are welcome. I feel that’s one of the strengths of Controlled Insanity, the diverse people and car collection. I’m in the process of making a flyer with the information and a registration form. ALL participants will receive a trophy and pre-registers will receive a custom 1st annual T-shirt. The donation will be $20.00 to show your car, which will all go the Haddon Township D.A.R.E. program. The program is a worthy cause to help young children stay away from drugs, and what better way to direct their attention, but to the world of car enthuses. I have the food worked-out and I’m now working on the DJ, but I need the membership’s help. The area is limited to approximately 60 cars, and I know we could turn out a big chunk of that! Tell your friends, family or neighbor with a collectable or unique car to come out and support an excellent cause. I will come to the Sunday meetings in the coming weeks to sign up anyone and to handout flyers. If you guys post up, I'll start a list who's coming."

I also have a 88 Iroc with a TPIS Mini Ram. It
runs strong at 12.3s.

Looks like a good time. Gettin closer and closer, hope you get a good turnout. I have told a bunch of my friends, however they were already registered for another show that day. You still may get some down there. Good Luck.
