Looking for an old Motorcycle for cheap/free

Ok guys I've wanted a bike for a few years now and have had my bike license for almost 2 years. I can't afford a new bike or even a decent used one so I'm looking at other options. I found a book on building a cheap chopper from older metric bikes like Honda or Kawasaki. Does anyone have or know someone with one of these older bikes that is just sitting around taking up space? If it runs that would be great, if not I can probably rebuild it.

Or if by some stroke of luck someone knows a person with an old Harley Sportster or other model for really cheap let me know. Thanks.
