				Nitrous line routing

The main line must be outside the car up to where it comes in to connect with the bottle correct?
And is there a "good" way to route it on a 4th gen?

i've also ran them through speaker panel, along door sill guard and out firewall.
but to run them for tech.... depends on a couple things
are you mounting bottle in ttop cubby or in where the spare tire goes? do you have frame connectors?

easiest is out the left area of ttop cubby, follow rear frame rail/bumper mounting rail, to fuel lines then tie rap or fasten with rubber isolated clamps along the fule lines up to engine compartment

if its legal to have lines running in the car what is the point of a blow down tube? and if you mean "whos gonna check under your carpet" well, just because it doesn't fail doesn't mean its legal

The blow down tube is there to divert nitrous expelled from the over pressure safety bust disc. This disc fails if the bottle pressure rises too high. The pressure of the burst disc (in theory) should be below the maximum pressure the system itself can handle.

point of blow down tube is that if bottle pressure exceeds limits, the bottle can burst/line rupture filling the cabin with nos and possible bodily damage if bottle explodes.
blowdown tube is connected with a pressure relief valve to outside of car. (so that if a burst or rupture was to happen, it wouldn't, it would blow the relief valve and shoot outside the car.)

p.s. tech doesn't like people all giggly & laughing going down the track either!!!!!

and I have never been busted @ tech for my lines in car, as long as the b.d. tube was installed they didn't care bout the lines.

ran on the bottle for 2 yrs @ atco almost evry weekend w/lines in car.

josh just said it in less words..... thanks

i understand the purpose of the blowdown tube, what i meant is, if the line is inside, capable of getting snagged or worn through and leaking INTO THE CAR, and that is legal, why bother making the blow down tube vent OUTSIDE of the car

snagging or worn through? what kind of line you using?I believe all nitrous lines are steel mesh incased with teflon/polymer inner lining.
I think It would take quite long time to rub through in any case.
