Finally Got Some Pics Of My Daily Driver.....Check It Out

It's a 1997 Chevy 1500 4WD. I put a new Vortech crate engine in it when I bought it and painted it myself last spring. It has about 5.5 inches of suspension lift and 35x12.5 tires. I just bought a push bar for the front and plan on getting fog lights to mount on it. I also got a bass tube and some tweeters for Christmas.
All it needs now is a new exhaust from the cat back (no mufflers) and I'm still chasing down a power loss problem.

Hahah Definately could.....it's gonna be even more fun when the push bar shows up. Now if I could only find out why I'm losing power. I have fuel and air for sure....whole fuel system is new except the lines. I have spark but maybe it's weak? The ignition module is ok because I tried a new one with no change. I'm going to try a new coil this week. After that I may have to suck it up and take it to the dealer for them to check the rest of the sensor output data.

Thanks. Yeah the lift isn't very conducive to towing. I hauled my t-bird all the way home from Long Island when the truck only had 4 inches of lift and it was a hairy trip!

Yeah I wasn't sure I wanted to do the tailights. They are a little ricey but that whole trend started with trucks anyway. Plus my stock lights were cracked and I couldn't pass inspection with them.....so $40 on ebay and I got these.

Did DMV make you go through the stability test at inspection down at the Manahawkin station? I have no idea at what height they make you do that.

I was "supposed" to, but I've got some friends in low places. It would have passed the ramp test though I'm fairly certain.

Hahahahahh.....why yes, yes I did do it myself!

Ok maybe not...I'll give credit where credit it due. Jon did the cartoon for me. I added a few details, but he did the majority of the work. Thanks again bro.
