			a vett is for a guy with a small penis... parts are more and everyone and there granpa has one. I love spakign a vett... they are not ment for the 1/4 mile. they are ment to be drivin on a nice day. Dude I've been a track rat for 20 years.. trust me a good driver can get a stock Fbody into the mid 12's. My car has gears and drag radials and runs mid 12's.

Especially because R&T is teh SUX0R, lol.  R&T tested the 03 Marauder and said that stock 1/4 times on that was 15.7.  I've been a member of mercurymarauder.net for coming up on 2 years now, I've NEVER seen a single member run that slow.  The slowest car we have STOCK is 15.4, all the other stockers run around 15.2, the fastest stocker runs at 14.6, R&T is not that credible of a 1/4 mile database, for me anyway JMHO.

gm high-tech ran a bone stock 01 SS at e-town. they car dyno'd 326 rwhp and ran a 12.96 @ 109. The stock 04 Z06 they had ran a 11.97 i'm guessing a stock C5 is around 12.6 - 12.7 bone stock.

			I always hate to see F-body owners bail out and get a Vette.  It's like taking the easy way out. 			Meh, I guess do what you want.  I think that your SS is much better looking they any standard C5 and the SOM paint and wheels look sharp.  I am a Vette fan as well, but I wouldnt get a C5 unless it was a Z06. Lets look @ the above statement from Jim.  
 
If you know tracks and use the above times for the SS.  What do you think the time would be for Atco and Cecil? 
 
Island 12.96 = 13.1 
Atco 12.96 = 12.8's 
Cecil 12.96 = 12.7's or less 
 
So saying its not possible is wrong. but what do I know.

 Again, speculation.  12.9's is a FAR cry from 12.6's.  Also, you can't sit there and take times ran at one track and "assume" they'd be XXXX at another.
 
I stand by my statement, everyone can say "well if he ran at this track" or "his modded times are this so his stock times should've been" all you want...until I see a bone stock fbody produce a 12.6 or even a 12.7's time slip I'm calling BS.
