the Limited SLR your talking about is the SLR722 edition, not bad, but I never liked how SLR's looked, except for the exhaust right before the doors, now that was sweet engineering. it was called the 722 for the car the won the 1955 milla miglia that started at 7:22a.m. driven by Sir Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson. its 650hp and 605 ft. lbs. They havea rare SLR 722GT model, but only 21 have been made, wiht 680hp, and i forget the torque and lost 300kg or lbs or something like that!!

Lets not forget the recent CLK Black series or whatever it is, making some serious power, and race ready.
That is some pretty impresive numbers for only 415hp....
This months MT has the M3, C63 and RS4...C63 came in 2nd, M3 first, RS4 last.

Understand, but the 415 comment was to the C63 doing 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

I'm just reading the article in C&D now, it came in second, beating the RS4, but losing to the new M3. The article criticizes it for having too harsh of a suspension, over the top styling, obesity, and being a gas guzzler.

They praise the speed, exhaust, and tranny, and out-braked the other 2.

And yet a preview article of it a couple issues back they said that they loved it and it is better than the M3.

i find it funny how while it out-horsepower's the M3 by like 50 or whatever it is, it out-torques it by almost 200 ft/lb.

M3 = 414 hp / 295 lb-ft
C63 = 451 hp / 443 lb-ft

Accel wise, C63 just widens its lead from the start.
M3 = 4.3 0-60
12.8 @ 113 1/4 mi
top gear 30-50 (tq test) 6.8

C63 - 3.9 0-60
12.3 @ 116 1/4 mi
top gear 30-50 2.3
