I never had any problems with my various 86-89 4Runners with 32x11.5x15 tires. The 87 Turbo 4Runner was a blast in the snow. Spool up the turbo in 4 wheel drive and that thing would take off!

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 3 PM EST SUNDAY.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES SUNDAY AND THEN NEW ENGLAND MONDAY. A SECONDARY LOW WILL DEVELOP NEAR LONG ISLAND EARLY MONDAY AND THEN COMBINE WITH THE GREAT LAKES LOW MONDAY NIGHT NEAR CAPE COD. THIS DEEP STORM WILL THEN SLOWLY EXIT TO THE NORTHEAST MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY.

THE STORM WILL BRING SNOW TO THE PHILADELPHIA METRO REGION AND THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN AREAS OF NEW JERSEY SHORTLY AFTER DAYBREAK SUNDAY. THE SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE LIGHTLY BEFORE A TRANSITION TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN OCCURS BY NOON. THE ICE WILL THEN CONTINUE FOR A SHORT PERIOD BEFORE WARMER AIR ARRIVES AND CHANGES ALL THE PRECIPITATION TO RAIN BY LATE AFTERNOON. A LIGHT COATING OF ICE IS LIKELY BEFORE THE CHANGEOVER OCCURS. THE RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT AND THEN END BY SUNRISE MONDAY. A GUSTY WIND WILL DEVELOP MONDAY WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH EXPECTED.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

I haven't gone outside yet, but it looks like we have about an inch here at my apartment. Looks like we have a bit of rain coming down now though

:sigh: I guess I'll just have to wait longer for some real snow to play in....

Looks like it has fizzled out pretty good so far. It might get pumped up later today but I'm not complaining. It's 26 degrees and raining out, that's not a good combination!

So that's why she left the gas on the other day. She was trying to get you out of the house to work on the car!

I was in the garage for about 3 hours yesterday putting the other cat in the y-pipe. It was pretty cold laying on the garage floor.

Got probably 1.5 inches here. Didn't even have to bother shoveling much. I swept most of it away with a broom in 15 mins
