yes...turns out when you go to the track with 60 miles on a new clutch back in may, it catches up eventually

There are two different Hurst shifters. The factory issued one had no stops. The aftermarket pro-billet has two stops.

when hitting gears hard its possible to overshift a gear. i did it. over shifted 4th, and lost 3rd gear. didn't end up being an expensive fix because we did it ourselves, but if it went to a trans shop would have been quite a bit of money

i have the factory optioned hurst short throw. in '01-'02 it was a dealer option, it was an slp option before that.

i also have the lou's short stick with the hurst, its perfect then. i think alex and jake have felt what its like in my car, maybe some other people too

I have the hurst billet plus shifter in my WS6 with Lous short stick. The SLP short throw shifter I sold to Skinny is like the Hurst shifter in the Camaro SS I have. I can honestly say that the SLP or Hurst short throw shifter with a short stick from ebay for $20 bucks shifts just as nice as the expensive Hurst Billet plus shifter in the Trans am.
