It has a sweet cowl. Great for street driving. Big tires for traction in the snow.

Yeah shure nothing wrong with an 8 sec 632ci aluminum big block 1300 hp dd.
I think my head gaskets are toast on the lincoln as there is oil leaking from the undersides of the heads
I would really like something like this but I dont really trust a motor w/ nitrous run on it as a reliable dd. Dont really care about teh 6pt cage but the nitrous bothers me.

I'm not buying all of them. The hawk is 13k Obo and the ss is 15k obo. The second gens are 7500 ea and have good drivetrains which I could sell to do an ls1 swap. Be found some ls1 in the area but they either have way too many miles or are auto which I don't want

I thought you wanted a DD? What's with the 2nd gens?

Hahha I'm looking at a 71 camaro it just needs a fender which I can buy new. The headlight bulb kit for the linc is 1200 dollars oh and I think the head gaskets on the mark are bad because it's leaking oil from the undersides of the heads

haha theres no such thing as a 38 year old car needing only a fender. unless its fully restored...but then again needing a fender doesnt sound like the case.

I love my 2nd gens but I'm not sure I'd want to dd it, at least in nj with a-holes, criminals, rain, cold and humidity. Maybe every nice day and have a beater too. Plus parts is a concern.

If I wanted a dd camaro maybe a nice late 3rd or more likely a late 4th gen. Well, I'd actually buy a new one but I am assuming you don't want that pmt.

My 77 clears 23+mpg highway with a questionble condition carb.

I actually don't mind a small car payment but a new one is out of the question . No turdgen for me though. I may go look at a new mustang see what my payments would be w/ my employee discount they have a coupe of 08's that they can't move

How many miles are on your Lincoln? I was going to mention the price of the headlight kits but I see you already mentioned it. I know they just dont make a lot of parts for them any more.
So if you sell your lincoln, what do u plan to drive while you look for an f-body......or a crappy mustang? Have an extra whip layen around that you can use as a dd while you shop around?

Haha yeah those damn headlights, I bought an aftermarket kit, and then got 2free ones that are practically new from my teacher. PM me if ya need em since I wolnt be much longer. My pats module alos died on me which suprise its discontinued Fords GGGGAAAAAAYYYYY
Yeah the parts are expensive if you can get them, but I like the car there is just not point in putting that much into a car which has basically no resale value and that many miles. The head bolts are $15 a pop, and its got 120k so it will probably need chain tensioners and other stuff too.
I would whip the nova but it needs too much to be on the road right away, Ill just have to take the mom mobile and drive her to and from work when I need a car and ride my bicycle to Dunkin when I have to work. I can have the lincoln gone tomorrow if needed. Im looking at buying that bad ass ss that I posted the link to eariler in the thread but I dont think that I can scratch up that much coin. Im also looking at a 32k mi ss vert for 13000, and a 00 firehawk vert for 11500.
