I cheated.. answer won't make sense for non-cheaters 
edit: what I mean is it makes sense.. it's just not very guessable

there is a machine that produces 10 gram coins and bags them. there are 10 coins in a bag. the machine has produced 9 bags containing 10 of the 10 gram coins when an error occurs. it produces a bag containing ten 9 gram coins. due to the error, all of the bags have been mixed together so one can be distinguished from the other. there is a scale available but you can only use it once. how can you tell which bag contains the ten 9 gram coins in it?

or open each bag and count them....you didnt say i couldn't
or put them all on the scale and take one off at a time until one bag removes only 90 grams, and that it.

Only once? I'v e heard the same riddle, but you can use the scale twice.

Also, the scale is a balance type, yes? Not one that tells you the weight?
