Glad to hear you got it all wrapped up. I'll be riding around in the TA today to put some more miles on the rear. How many miles are recommended for a break-in?

im surprised they told you you could rev match and downshift, every break in i have done you are supposed to put it in neutral and slow down with the brakes not the motor

I wasn't downshifting or rev matching every time. I did it ~5 times just to see how the clutch was disengaging. The break in period is 500 miles of stop and go with how ever many heat cycles I want. The more heat cycles I do, the better street ability I will have with the clutch. I'm going to take a 40 miles trip now with it.

i usually put those two in first and use the bolts to pull the trans into a perfect lineup taking the bellhousing off with the trans out of the car works well too.

It wasn't that bad. I don't think using a trans jack would of really helped much. Just the use of a jackstand at the front of the trans and a person holding it on the jack in the back was good enough. I was able to get it close enough to the bellhousing and started the bottom 2 bolts and it eventually walked in. I need a new trans mount now because the original one is shot and the trans keeps hitting the tunnel when I first start moving.

Air tools were nice. I didn't use them removing the trans, but used them to help put the job back together. It came out nice. If I did it again, I could easily see doing one in 6hrs. I was taking my time and fighting with the torque arm during the removing(wanted to see if you could drop the trans with it in... and I lost that battle). I've gotta bleed the clutch hydraulics again. I have 130 miles on the car now. Hope to get to 500 city miles by the 20th, and then the motor will be getting changes.
