Its Easter Sunday. Slept in late, but still made the 10:00 am service, glad we got there on time, it was a great sermon, then home by 12:00, nice lunch, still have leftovers from yesterdays feast.
Decided to head down to my parents house, they always like seeing the family, especially the kids.
Nice quiet day, saw some neat cars on the road today. Viper, 40th Mustang GT vert, a few showroom condition corvettes, and a bunch of 30's and 40's classic hot rods. Guess Easter Sunday afternoon is cruising time. I have the 'Bird washed and waxed, so its looking good.
Life is good.
Don't eat too much candy and eggs!
Happy Easter!

I scared a couple looking at cars at a dealership this afternoon, cutout and WOT ftw. Its been a while since I got it up in the WOT range...
Did a coupla laps round that road, cept no one wanted to play.
Took it back home, and now I am doing some school work. Pretty uneventful day to say the least.

i am cleaning the **** out of my room. bed is apart and out of the room, doing shelves with leyers of dust on them now, finding **** from 10-15 years ago, found 4 perfect condition stickers from tattoo the Earth 10 yrs ago, random keys that I don't know what they go to...
And I'm highly allergic to dust. This makes me very glad we have a spare bedroom that I'll likely be using tonight

Today consisted of Gym and checking my email every 5 minutes.
Good productive day if I do say so myself.

Decided to stay at the folks house with the two youngest (6 and 10 yo). They get a real kick out of sleepover, especially at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Wife and oldest son (20) have gone home, they are enjoying some quality time together, especially seeing as he is home from college.
Such a nice time of year.... Everything is starting new. As a family, we are looking forward to what the spring and summer will bring.
Will have the boats ready in a couple of weeks, and looking forward to a few spring outings on the salt water. The new cabin on the Bayliner should be fun to spend the night on the water in. Got to add a new CD player to the boat to power the new marine grade speakers I installed last fall. Got some new fishing gear, this is something my daughter really likes to do. And amazingly, this 10 yo is very good at it.
Everything in time. Never rush. Stop and appreciate the things that God has given you, especially family. As time passes, you will find that the most important things in life are family, not friends or clubs or other associations. Its well worth the time and effort to put into developing good family relations.
In most religions, be it Christian, or Jewish or other, Easter represents a new beginning. A resurrection and life. We make the most of it. It is what you make of it.
Happy Easter!
Mark
