slp cold air kit

Just installed slp cold air kit on my lt1. It started running perfectly, after about a half hour it started stuttering a little bit and losing power. Has anybody had to clean their MAF sensor after the install. I vaguely remember reading that somewhere.....Any suggestions??

I would unplug the maf and see if it runs better. You should also check all of your intake and plug connections for proper seating/sealing

The IAT sensor wires should be fine because I didnt take off the rubber elbow. I'll check everything though tomorrow. I did slightly dent up the screen of the MAF but hardly. Thanks for the suggestions, guys

A dent in the screen shouldn't mess things up unless you totally fubared the thing. Def check to make sure everything is sealed up nicely and may not be a bad idea to clean the MAF with proper cleaner from any local auto parts store. They sell a particular can of the stuff for MAFs so don't use windex, brake cleaner, etc. Maybe the filter was oiled a little too heavily and it got on the MAF wires causing your issues.
