If the NHRA catches any track not following the rules at any time they will go full nuclear.
Regarding the situation at Atco with the burn lawsuit, it's important to note that both Acto AND the NHRA are being named as defendants. That was a track rental, but according to how things are supposed to be run it's not supposed to matter.

Not my buddy anymore all im saying is u dnt need to spend a million bucks to make a car go fast. Ford foxs are the easiest car i know of to go fast with cheap

No one said a million. Ou said 30k. And all I said was you can't build a Legal mid 8s car for that. Yes you can throw a bunch of second hand parts into a rust bucket and put a huge shot on it and not have any safety or anything to make it legal

I didnt say it was legal all i said was my buddys seen it do 8s at the track no cage for that amount. Its a 302 based motor at the time a novie 2000 s/c i believe. Now hes same 302 based and a procharger. New setup should go faster than that. U can buy a fully caged notch on cg for like 3 grand as a roller. How he can run at the track no cage i have no clue expept maybe grudge or a run wat u brung type deal. Not trying to turn this into a pissing match. I know me saying my buddys seen it doesnt count to u but w/e in vids hes doing at least nines.

Whoah, Whoah. That thing is supposed to be running 8s on a stock 302 block? You know, the stock 302 that splits in half, even tuned perfectly, once you get to 450-500 HP?

Cool story bro. Go pat your friend on the back for running an unsafe car at the track and giving all of us real racers (that actually attempt to play by the rules) a bad name. Running a quick car at the track with no cage is beyond stupid, especially when it is in a pos fox body.
