Need help from the computer peeps
When I try to delete a user account on my computer it just freezes and i am unable to delete it what could be causing this? thanks in advance.

one word: Windows, windows does things without any reason. try doing it in safe mode. some more info would help too (what OS, how are you trying to delete it (cmd line, Admin tools, control panel,etc..)

Windows Xp home edition, i am the administrator of the pc and i am going into the control panel clicking on user accounts and then clicking on the name i want to delete and then when that shows up i hit keep files then say delete but when i push the delete button it just freezes on me.

Do it in safe mode and update us.

Tap the F8 key a couple times when you start the computer. Youll be given the option, select "Start Windows in Safe Mode".

Update tryed it in safe mode and when i go into the users to delete them the ones i want to delete are not showing up.

It wouldnt work on an XP machine anyway. Rember, XP isnt DOS based.

deltree c:\  my friend did that on one of the school computers.
try doing this:
1.go to the taskbar properties and click show Admin options and hit apply/ok
2.find it in the start menu and click it. click computer management then users. every user should be there

XP Home edition wont have that option.

No I meant the second part of your statemen. It doesent have user managment in the system tools part of manager.
