They list RockfordFosgate, call them up and see what they know about the school.

I gotta say I have trouble thinking too highly of a school on any level that doesn't even have a real website or at least one that is NameOfSchool.EDU or .COM r something.

Definitely agree with that. I think any respectable school should at least have .edu.

Here's an awesome idea, pay it on your own.

You can thank me later.

I don't know anything about that school but i typically distrust poorly designed websites. You don't wanna pay all that money(even if it's cheaper) to go there and then not be able to get a job because you're not qualified.

So let me understand this. You pay roughly $6000 so they can teach you how to install sound systems. You'd probably learn more if you worked in a shop as a helper and got paid a few hundred a week under the table.

Save your money and open your own shop once the economy gets out of the crapper.

Yeah, I was doing WHOIS and DNS lookups on it and it looked pretty funky.

there has been a rash of scams of schools that accept tuition for classes then either you show up to a fake address and get ripped off or find out that after you go to their school that their training or ''education'' means nothing to anyone and it was worthless.

learn on the job +1
teach yourself the fiberglass. ive fooled with it a few times. its not insanely hard. look around the net. THERE ARE TONS OF WALK THROUGHS. once you learn the basics you can figure out the rest for yourself.

Fiberglass work is an art, and you realy need to find an old timer that will show you the tricks of the trade. Its not something that you can practice enough and voila be an awesome glasser....

Mobile Tech Training actually has been around a few years; they've come into the school where I work for a Career Fair a few times, and I even checked out their facility on Rt 46 near Teterboro Airport. Seems legit enough to me!

Get a loan, if you have a head on your shoulders you'll do good in school and then pay it back. It's not rocket science really.
