It was just that moment that was happening last night that I couldnt believe what I had heard. I felt you guys would enjoy some humor out of this. Yea i am sure it was dumb on my part for going crazy like this, but this will just be a warning. I need to get to know this kid some more, hopefully he was yanking my chain just to see if I would believe him, which I didnt. But o well.

eh, one of my best friends back in the day swore up and down his 2003 s10 xtreme came factory on a corvette frame....
at matts on saturday a kid said he had a 2006 stang GT that did 13.2 @ 124mph.... i started in on him a bit then decided to give up and play with the fire instead.
I see it all the time and just shrug it off. Personally it amuses me especially when these people have some type of actual training in the subject, tech school or such. Those here who know me would agree that i know quite a bit more than the average car person and thats with no school ever for this stuff.

it was all about this kid grabbing someone's pics and posting up on a mercedes board like the pics were his car, then he started talking about his super model girlfriend, then she shows up and is like, who is this kid? it was funny, but you had to be there at the time watching the major can of PWNAGE that got opened up on this kid... all because he misrepresented himself as some big timer hoarding the cheddar and driving a mercedes...
so, no, it wouldn't necessarily be BS, but if it turned out to be the same kid...

The car would have to have alot mo powa to be able to allow the motor to rev higher to reach that kind of speed with the gears it has.

Without a doubt SAM is the school to go to if you want to be a machinist, but if you want to be an ASE dealership mechanic then UTI is the school.

HAHAHAHA good point.
Honestly I think you got a kid who wants to be cool and is full of BS. That kids probally never been in a car going 160. A buddy of mine is going to UTI next year, he's dumb as nails when it comes to well just about anything especially cars!

Yes but thats not my goal and dream, still not a bad choice if you get into a good dealership.

and if you are dead set on working for a particular manufacturer, UTI is the in for the programs...Granted, going to all of the other tech-schools you can have a chance, but you absolutely need to be at the top of your game, where as if you go to UTI and have good attendance, you are pretty much in with any one of them. Porsche PTAP or whatever its called only takes like 15 kids in the country, all of which will come from UTI.
